The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has arrested a former officer of the US Special Operations Command for leaking classified information to a media representative.
Modern.az reports that FBI Director Kash Patel stated this.
"Let this be a warning to potential whistleblowers: We investigate such cases and make arrests. The FBI will not tolerate those who attempt to betray our country and endanger Americans," Patel said.
The leaked information is believed to be related to an operation to locate a US Air Force pilot in Iran.
