A baptism ceremony performed by a female priest in Great Britain resulted in tragedy.
Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that Cheryl Bartley had been organizing baptism ceremonies in a small children's pool she set up in her garden at her home in London. A 61-year-old man who came to her for this purpose unexpectedly lost his life during the ceremony. Specifically, he drowned in the small pool.
According to the information, Bartley live-streamed the process on her social media account. In a video she later shared, she claimed to have seen the deceased person with Jesus.
Law enforcement agencies investigating the incident identified elements of manslaughter by negligence in the woman's actions, and charges have been brought against her. Although the exact circumstances of the man's death have not been disclosed for judicial reasons, it is reported that a prison sentence awaits the woman.
