The Azerbaijani Rustam Dilaver oglu Mustafayev, who died in the battles for the freedom and territorial integrity of Ukraine, was laid to rest today.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Anar Natiqoglu, an Azerbaijani journalist and diaspora activist living in Ukraine.
Rustam Mustafayev was originally from Badamli village, Shahbuz district, Nakhchivan.
Our 33-year-old compatriot, a citizen of Ukraine, died during the battles in Zaporizhzhia region where he lived.
“After the farewell ceremony in front of the mosque, the motorcade departed for the cemetery.
The ceremony was attended by activists of our diaspora, the deceased's comrades-in-arms, and representatives of the local community.
The funeral ceremony was accompanied by a volley of fire”, - A.Natiqoglu noted.
