Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
Modern.az reports that, during the phone conversation, Erdoğan emphasized the importance of making maximum use of the talks to commence in the coming days for ensuring lasting peace and stability.
He drew attention to the importance of not allowing forces that seek to obstruct the process, and stated that Turkey is ready to provide all kinds of support in this direction.
The Turkish President also noted that Ankara has made intensive efforts in the process leading to a ceasefire. Erdoğan offered condolences regarding the losses of the Iranian people, and emphasized that Turkey's main goal is to foster an environment of common sense and dialogue in the region.
