6 Malaysian ships have passed through the Strait of Hormuz and are heading home.
Modern.az reports that Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim informed the foreign press about this.
The "New Straits Times" newspaper quoted the prime minister as saying: "Six ships have already departed, and we hope that oil supplies will remain under control in April and May."
The prime minister noted that 1 more Malaysian ship remained in a Middle Eastern port due to a technical malfunction.
The first Malaysian ship passed through the strait on April 6.
