In 2025, China imported 11.4 million barrels of crude oil daily.
Modern.az reports that, according to statistical data, Russia ranked first among the country's main oil suppliers. Thus, 2.04 million barrels of oil were exported daily from Russia to China, which accounts for 17.9% of total imports.
Saudi Arabia ranked second on the list. The volume of oil imported from this country was 1.60 million barrels (14.0%). Iran completes the top three with an indicator of 1.55 million barrels (13.6%).
Iraq was also among the main partners. 1.25 million barrels of oil were supplied daily from this country to China, which is equal to 11.0% of total imports.
Other major suppliers include Brazil (0.91 million barrels, 8.0%), United Arab Emirates (0.76 million barrels, 6.7%), Oman (0.71 million barrels, 6.2%) and Angola (0.58 million barrels, 5.1%).
