A protest action was held with the participation of the Druze community in the city of As-Suwayda in southern Syria.

According to the information, the participants of the action demanded the severance of ties with Damascus and the independence of the region.
It is reported that the protest took place against the background of recent days' firing from Syria in the direction of Israel. During the action, some participants raised Israeli flags and also displayed photos of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
It is noted that the participants made calls for changing the status of the region.
