Information was received by the "112" hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) regarding citizens being in a helpless situation in an unsupervised area at sea in the Qaradağ district of Baku city.
This was reported to Modern.az by the MES.
In connection with the information, diver-rescuers of the State Service for Control over Small-Sized Vessels and Water Rescue of the MES were immediately dispatched to the area.
Thanks to the operative rescue operation carried out, citizens who were in a helpless situation at sea approximately 1 km from the shore due to a malfunction in the engine of a fishing boat; - Mammadov Rahman Marifat oglu, born in 1994, Aliyev Ali Ramiz oglu, born in 1986, Mammadov Intigam Islam oglu, born in 1981, and Guliyev Ilkin Shakir oglu, born in 1980, were rescued by rescuers and brought ashore.
