New details and information have emerged regarding the “Idrak” lyceum where the incident occurred.
According to Modern.az, a meeting for parents was held at the lyceum on Saturday. During the meeting, parents were provided with information about their children and the general educational process, and their opinions regarding the incident were gathered.
The lyceum administration has promised that, effective today, the security system at the educational institution will be strengthened, and all incoming students and their bags will be thoroughly checked.
Nevertheless, it is reported that some parents have withdrawn their children from the lyceum following the armed incident.
It should be recalled that an armed incident occurred last week at the “Idrak” lyceum located in Baku. During the incident, a 10th-grade student of the lyceum fired a hunting rifle at his teacher, resulting in injuries to the 29-year-old female teacher.
