In the Khatai district of the capital, 11000 manats were stolen from a “Range Rover” brand car.

"Based on the citizen's complaint, with measures taken by police officers, 34-year-old R. Guliyev, suspected of committing the act, was detained. Investigations revealed that at the time of the incident, he claimed to be providing a “sober driver” service to the car owner, and got behind the wheel of the vehicle. After R. Guliyev parked the car in the garage, he took advantage of the victim's momentary inattention and stole the money located in the storage compartment.
As a result of another operation carried out in the district, 35-year-old S. Ramazanov, suspected of stealing 723 manats from a bank card, and 25-year-old Kh. Mehdiyev, who was previously convicted, were also identified and detained.
Investigations into the facts are ongoing," the statement said.
