For patients with chronic kidney disease, kidney transplantation is currently the most effective and optimal treatment strategy. After transplantation, patients can return to a completely normal life with certain observation and minor corrections to their lifestyle. The follow-up of pregnancies in women who have undergone kidney transplantation is kept under control based on special medical protocols.
The Nephrology Department of the medical team led by D.M.Sc. Rashad Sholan has extensive clinical experience in this field.
In addition, the first systematic scientific studies on pregnancy after kidney transplantation in our country were also carried out by D.M.Sc. Rashad Sholan and his colleagues. The aforementioned analytical research was presented at the TAJEV (“Türk-Alman Jinekoloji Eğitim, Araştırma ve Hizmet Vakfı”) congress in 2024 and the MESOT (“Middle East Society of Organ Transplantation”) congress in 2025.
The final scientific results of the study were published in the prestigious journal “Experimental and Clinical Transplantation”, which is included in international abstracting and indexing databases. (//pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41808642/). The article is indexed in leading scientific databases such as PubMed, Web of Science, and Scopus.
