In Baku's Khazar district, a suspect has been apprehended for attempting to intentionally kill 1 person and intentionally killing another person.
According to information provided by the Khazar District Prosecutor's Office to Modern.az, on March 26, information was received by the district prosecutor's office regarding the killing of Vagif Amirov in the Turkan settlement area of the capital's Khazar district.
During the investigation, reasonable suspicions were established that Cavanşir Muradov attempted to kill his neighbor Ruslan Aliyev by firing a weapon at him, and then intentionally killed Vagif Amirov by firing the same weapon at him.
Regarding the incident, a criminal case has been initiated at the Khazar District Prosecutor's Office under Articles 120.1 (intentional homicide) and 29, 120.2.7 (attempted intentional killing of two or more persons) of the Criminal Code, and a preliminary investigation is underway.
C. Muradov, suspected of committing the crime, has been apprehended by the district prosecutor's office as a suspect in the case.
