A main water pipeline burst in Kürdəmir, leaving the district center and 6 villages without water.
Modern.az reports that the accident occurred in the section of the Külüllü-Kürdəmir main water pipeline at the 32nd km - in the territory of Qaraqocalı village of the district.
As a result of the bursting of the 55 mm diameter water pipe, the surrounding household plots were flooded and residents suffered significant material damage.
Personnel and equipment of the relevant agency have been deployed to the scene. Necessary measures are being taken to eliminate the accident.
It should be noted that the Külüllü-Kürdəmir main water pipeline was constructed in 2013 with state funds and provides drinking water to a total of 21,000 residents of the district. ("Report")
