A car accident occurred in Gobustan, and the road was closed. The incident was recorded on the section of the Baku–Shamakhi-Yevlakh highway passing through Gobustan district.
Modern.az reports that a vehicle traveling from Shamakhi towards Baku was involved in an accident. For this reason, the road in the aforementioned direction was temporarily closed to one side, leaving a large number of cars stranded on the road.
Due to foggy weather and the holiday break, heavy traffic is observed in the movement of cars returning to Baku from the regions.
Police officers dispatched to the area are attempting to remove the crashed vehicle from the roadway and restore traffic flow.
