A murder occurred in Shamkir.
Modern.az reports that the incident was recorded in the village of Garacemirli in the district.
Village resident Anar Allahverdiyev, 33, murdered his 66-year-old mother, Çiçək Sərdarova, with a blunt object. He then poured lubricant oil on himself and set himself on fire. He is reported to have died.
Employees of police and prosecutor's offices were dispatched to the scene.
An investigation into the incident is underway.(APA)
