By the forces of the MES, during the holiday period, 45 people, including 11 minors, were rescued, 14 people were injured, 13 people lost their lives during the incidents, 766 people, including 210 minors, who were left helpless in areas flooded due to intensive rains, and 35 people were evacuated to a safe area during fires.

It was noted that the Ministry of Emergency Situations worked in an enhanced operational mode in connection with the Ramadan and Novruz holidays, with the aim of ensuring the safety of citizens' lives and activities, responding promptly to potential emergencies at life support and other critically important facilities, and organizing the prompt elimination of their possible consequences.
Specifically, based on calls received by the Ministry of Emergency Situations' “112” hotline, the relevant agencies of the Ministry carried out a total of 380 fire responses, 5 road accidents, 3 explosion incidents, and emergency rescue operations related to floods during the non-working days related to the holidays. As a result of the urgent and immediate measures taken, the prompt extinguishing of fires and the rescue of human lives were ensured.
