Argentina could be excluded from the World Cup

The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) may exclude the Argentina national team from the 2026 World Cup.

 

Modern.az reports that the publication “El Nacional” has published information regarding this.

 

It is reported that sanctions may be imposed against the Argentina national team due to the corruption scandal in the Argentine Football Association (AFA). The head of the organization, Claudio Tapia, is suspected of illegal enrichment. Several individuals under his authority are also being investigated on the same charges.
