"Neftçi" has completed its first transfer in 2026.
Modern.az reports, citing the club's press service, that a 2.5-year contract has been signed with Brazilian attacking midfielder Breno Almeida.
The 27-year-old footballer's last club was Cypriot representative "Ethnikos". He has also played in the leagues of Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and Malta.
It should be noted that B. Almeida, who has been playing for "Ethnikos" since the summer of 2024, has appeared in 14 official matches this season, scoring 3 goals and providing 5 assists.
