The preliminary squad that will represent Azerbaijan at the Senior European Judo Championship, to be held in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, between April 16-19, has been determined.
Modern.az reports that the Azerbaijan Judo Federation provided information on this matter.
The preliminary list includes a total of 15 judokas, comprising 9 men and 6 women.
Among them are Balabəy Ağayev, Əhməd Yusifov (both 60 kg), Ruslan Paşayev (66 kg), Hidayət Heydərov (73 kg), Zelim Tçkayev, Ömər Rəcəbli (both 81 kg), Murad Fətiyev (90 kg), Zelim Kotsoyev (100 kg), Kənan Nəsibov (+100 kg), Könül Əliyeva, Şəfəq Həmidova (both 48 kg), Leyla Əliyeva, Gültac Məmmədəliyeva (both 52 kg), Südabə Ağayeva (70 kg)Ze, Madina Kaisinova (+78 kg).
It should be noted that the national team's final squad will be announced one week before the competition.
