Azerbaijani wrestler Sabir Jafarov has been disqualified for 48 months.
This was reported to Modern.az by the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA).
It was stated that the athlete faced a penalty based on two articles.
In his sample, the presence of a prohibited substance, its metabolites, or markers was detected. Additionally, there was use or attempted use of a prohibited substance or a prohibited method by the athlete.
The sanction, which begins on September 1, 2025, will end on August 31, 2029.
