AFFA Disciplinary Committee has fined the "Turan Tovuz" club.

Modern.az reports that this was stated in the information released by AFFA.

“After the first semi-final match of the Azerbaijan Cup between “Turan Tovuz” and “Zira” on April 3, 2026, Ehtiram Guliyev, chairman of the board of the “Turan Tovuz” club, made statements that deliberately demean and question the reputation and credibility of AFFA, its bodies, or member organizations. Therefore, the “Turan Tovuz” team was fined 15,000 manats,” - it is stated in AFFA's announcement.

In addition, during the "Turan Tovuz" – "Zira" match, due to the mass chanting of insulting expressions by Tovuz fans towards the referees, the club from Tovuz was also fined 5,000 manats.

Thus, "Turan Tovuz" has been fined 20,000 manats.
