The decision regarding possible European Union membership is the choice of the Armenian people, but Yerevan must consider the changing nature of the European Union, which has transformed from an economic union into a military-political one.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Aleksey Overchuk.
"Are Armenians ready to join a military-political union that currently holds a very aggressive stance against Russia? Perhaps Armenians should ask themselves this question. In any case, it has, of course, been stated repeatedly that the choice in favor of one integration union or another is always the choice of the Armenian people," he added.
