“The main advantages of operating in the Azerbaijani market are indeed numerous. Let me mention two of them: the country's current stage of development and its magnificent infrastructure. Azerbaijan has diversified its economy by utilizing energy resources. The population has also widely benefited from this. There are great opportunities in the tourism sector – ski resorts, rich history, and the opportunities offered by Baku. American companies are already interested in the construction of many hotels here”.
Modern.az reports that these words were stated by Kush Choksi, Senior Vice President for International Member Relations, Middle East, and Turkey at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, in response to a question from AZERTAC.
He further stated: “The country's geographical location, its position as a connecting point extending from west to east, is a great advantage. Azerbaijan can also play the role of a bridge in the energy sector. Because Europe needs energy. At the same time, connections from north to south exist. Azerbaijan's neighborhood and regional ties are continuously expanding. The country provides access to numerous markets”.
