Modern.az reports, citing the State Statistical Committee, that this is 2.5 percent more compared to the same month of the previous year.
According to the information, product production in the oil and gas sector increased by 1.4 percent, while in the non-oil and gas sector, it increased by 8.7 percent.
56.4 percent of industrial products accounted for the mining sector, 35.2 percent for the processing sector, 7.4 percent for the electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply sector, and 1.0 percent for the water supply, waste treatment and processing sector.
In the mining sector, marketable oil production decreased by 2.3 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 8.7 percent.
In the processing sector, the production of pharmaceutical products increased by 2.8 times, the production of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers by 2.1 times, the installation and repair of machinery and equipment by 92.7 percent, the production of electrical equipment by 53.2 percent, the production of building materials by 39.3 percent, the production of tobacco products by 37.4 percent, the production of paper and cardboard by 26.1 percent, the production of textile industry products by 20.3 percent, the production of printing products by 8.2 percent, and clothing production by 3.9 percent.
At the same time, furniture production decreased by 0.3 percent, food product production by 0.6 percent, metallurgical industry product production by 3.9 percent, beverage production by 6.4 percent, the production of leather and leather products, footwear by 6.7 percent, the production of rubber and plastic products by 6.7 percent, the production of computer, electronic and optical products by 6.7 percent, the production of machinery and equipment by 10.8 percent, the production of petroleum products by 16.4 percent, the production of chemical industry products by 21.2 percent, wood processing and the production of wood products by 26.7 percent, and the production of fabricated metal products by 28.5 percent.
Production in the electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply sector decreased by 2.9 percent, and in the water supply, waste treatment and processing sector by 5.7 percent.
