In January 2026, a gross domestic product (GDP) of 9078.7 million manats was produced in the country. This indicator is 1.7 percent higher compared to the same month last year.

According to the information, during the reporting period, the value added in the oil and gas sector of the economy increased by 0.6 percent, and in the non-oil and gas sector by 2.3 percent.
Additionally, 33.9 percent of GDP accounts for industry, 11.7 percent for trade and repair of vehicles, 7.8 percent for transport and warehousing, 3.6 percent for construction, 3.3 percent for agriculture, forestry, and fishing, 2.4 percent for accommodation of tourists and public catering, 2.2 percent for information and communication, and 23.4 percent for other sectors. Net taxes on products and imports constitute 11.7 percent of GDP.
The information reflects that GDP per capita was 884.5 manats.
