In January 2026, Azerbaijan's non-oil sector exports increased by 9% compared to the corresponding period of 2025, reaching 268.4 million US dollars.
Modern.az reports that this was reflected in the preliminary indicators for the February 2026 issue of the "Export Review" by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
According to the information, last month, food product exports increased by 22.6%, reaching 103 million US dollars.
In the first month of the current year, exported sugar increased by 169.3% compared to the corresponding period of last year, cotton yarn by 137.6%, fats and oils of vegetable and animal origin by 90.8%, aluminum and products made from them by 39.5%, fruits and vegetables by 32.1%, cotton fiber by 23.2%, tea by 20.9%, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by 14.2%.
In January 2026, exports of agricultural products increased by 32.6% to 85.7 million US dollars, and exports of agro-industrial products amounted to 21.9 million US dollars. Overall, the combined exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 23.8%, reaching 107.6 million US dollars.
