As of the beginning of 2026, the total number of pensioners in Azerbaijan amounted to 1 million 98.9 thousand people.

According to the information, based on the distribution by pension types, 64.8 percent of pensioners receive old-age pensions. The share of those receiving disability pensions is 22.8 percent, and the share of those receiving pensions due to the loss of the head of the family is 12.4 percent.
