A state of emergency has been declared in the energy sector in the Philippines.
Modern.az reports, citing local media, that the country's president, Ferdinand Marcos, justified this by the risks posed to the country's fuel supply and energy stability due to the war in the Middle East.
It should be recalled that the Philippines met a significant portion of its energy needs through the Strait of Hormuz. The confrontation between Iran and the United States has negatively affected this process.
