Three countries alone produce 39% of global oil production.
Modern.az reports, citing international rankings, that last year, the US was the world's largest producer of crude oil and condensates.
The country produced 13.58 million barrels per day (million barrels/day), which significantly surpasses Russia (9.87 million barrels/day) and Saudi Arabia (9.51 million barrels/day). Following in the rankings are Canada (4.94 million barrels/day), Iraq (4.39 million barrels/day), China (4.34 million barrels/day), and Iran (4.19 million barrels/day).
Together, these three countries accounted for 39% of global crude oil production in 2025.
