Our non-oil exports are constantly increasing: gold, hazelnuts, copper...

In January-February 2026, Azerbaijan's non-oil sector exports increased by 19.7% compared to the corresponding period of 2025, reaching 580.7 million US dollars. In January-February 2026, exports of food products increased by 30.5% to 200.6 million US dollars.

Modern.az reports that this information is reflected in the March issue of the “Export Review” for 2026 by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).

It was reported that in January-February of the current year, exported sugar increased 4.3 times compared to the corresponding period of last year, cotton yarn 2.6 times, fats and oils of vegetable and animal origin 2.1 times, aluminum and products made from them by 37.4%, cotton fiber by 33.3%, fruits and vegetables by 32.7%, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by 10.9%, and tea by 5.1%.

In January-February 2026, exports of agricultural products increased by 34.6% to 160.9 million US dollars, and exports of agro-industrial products increased by 22% to 52.5 million US dollars. Overall, the combined exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 31.2% to 213.4 million US dollars.

During the mentioned period, gold (60.7 million US dollars) ranked first in the list of non-oil sector goods exported. In this list, hazelnuts (57.4 million US dollars) ranked second, and copper ores (44.6 million US dollars) ranked third.

During February 2026, hazelnuts (28.1 million US dollars) ranked first in the list of non-oil sector goods exported. In this list, gold (27.6 million US dollars) ranked second, and copper ores (24.1 million US dollars) ranked third.
