Steps taken towards digital transformation are yielding results. Positive dynamics were also observed in the ICT sector in the first months of 2026. According to indicators up to the end of February, the share of the information and communication sector in GDP increased to 2.1%. The share of the non-oil/gas sector in GDP constituted 2.9%.
The increase in revenues in the sector is also noteworthy. Thus, the total revenue of the information and communication sector reached 608.6 million manats during the reporting period. This indicator is 6.2% or 46 million manats higher in real terms compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
Investment activity has also significantly increased. The volume of investments directed to the sector during January-February amounted to 106.1 million manats. This represents an increase of 2.1 times or 56 million manats compared to the same period last year, indicating interest in the sector.
Overall, the presented indicators demonstrate the sustainable development of the ICT sector and the expansion of the digital economy.
