When talking about world tourism, Turkey is the first country that comes to mind. It is no secret that Turkey has become the center of world tourism today.

Modern.az reports that tourism services in the brotherly country are also at a very high level, and many countries are interested in learning from Turkey's experience.

Regardless of the season, visitors to any region of Turkey are sure to encounter a new natural wonder. It is as if God has bestowed Turkey upon the Earth as a paradise.

Attractiveness

So, what makes the brotherly country interesting and attractive for world tourists, and for us Azerbaijanis?

To answer this question, one needs to explore Turkey's enchanting nature, rich history, natural beauties, and diverse cuisine.

In addition to its sufficiently striking architectural monuments, natural beauties, and historical remains, Turkey also captivates with its natural landscapes. Magnificent views from all over Turkey, from Sumela Monastery amidst lush green grasses to Pamukkale, attract attention.

The first thing that comes to mind when Istanbul is mentioned – “Kız Kulesi”

The Maiden's Tower, located on a small island in the Üsküdar waters of the Bosphorus, dates back to the Byzantine period. As one of Istanbul's most famous symbols, you will not tire of watching the sunset from this tower, along with the magnificent silhouette of the historical peninsula. Those who are not satisfied with observing the stress-relieving view of the city from afar can take a boat from Salacak and visit the tower. In short, if you happen to be in Istanbul, try to enjoy watching the sunset here.

Sumela Monastery rising in the embrace of lush green nature! – Trabzon

Sumela Monastery, dating back to 386 AD, was built on steep cliffs overlooking the Altındere Valley in the Maçka district of Trabzon. Currently the subject of many films, Sumela Monastery is a frequently visited destination for both local and foreign tourists.

A snow-white natural site – Pamukkale Travertines (Denizli)

The Pamukkale travertines, dating back 14,000 years, have been included in UNESCO's World Heritage List. In Pamukkale, it is possible to enter the travertines, which change color depending on the sun's heat at any time of day, offering different views. A special point of attention here is to remove your shoes. Also, don't forget to take your camera to capture the irreplaceable views when you go to Denizli.

Mardin houses (Mardin)

The view of Mardin houses presents the tranquility of the Mesopotamian plain together with the region's thousand-year history. The greatest feature of these houses is that they are made of yellow limestone, which can be easily shaped into various forms. No wood was used in the houses with interconnected streets, except for doors, windows, and suspended floors. Mardin houses are worth seeing.

Uçhisar Castle (Nevşehir)

The carving and processing of the rocks spans a period of over a thousand years.
Cappadocia – is a unique place that has no equal and creates the impression in its visitors that they have arrived in a completely different world with its special atmosphere. Uçhisar Castle is located at the furthest point of Cappadocia. Its great feature is not only being the highest peak of the area but also its strategic importance. It is possible to join Cappadocia tours and breathe the historical air of this region while enjoying the beauty of Mount Hasan and Mount Erciyes.

Mount Nemrut, reaching an altitude of 2150 meters

If your path takes you through Adıyaman, you will experience a special pleasure if you climb Mount Nemrut to watch the sunset.

The height of the mountain in the Kahta district of Adıyaman reaches approximately 2150 meters. King Antiochus I of the empire built at the foot of Mount Nemrut had beautiful monuments and statues erected on the summit of this mountain. These remains, spread in the east, west, and north directions, are reported to belong to the Hellenistic period. Mount Nemrut, with its breathtaking scenery, is included in UNESCO's World Heritage List.

Tekirova (Antalya) – the holiday town known for Kemer's blue beaches

Among the famous beaches, Olympos is the most popular. The rare beauties of Olympos and other surrounding villages are also legendary. But there is more to Antalya than that! For example, Mount Tahtalı, which overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and attracts attention with its triangular shape, and Tekirova, amaze those who see them.

Kızkalesi (Mersin), captivating with its beauty

This castle, built by the Byzantines, occupies an island belonging to it in the Erdemli district of Mersin. The enchanting castle, located just 300 meters from the beach, amazes those who see it.

Antalya, Dalaman, Uludağ, Rize, Konya, Mardin, Pamukkale, Mount Nemrut, Cappadocia, Ephesus, Pergamon, Diyarbakır, Sinop, Aphrodisias, etc., attract attention with their beautiful locations.

Indeed, the ancestors were right: “Seeing once is better than hearing a hundred times”.

In short, Turkey is a country rich in wonders and beauties. One simply needs to explore these beauties and witness history.
