Actor James Van Der Beek, known for his role as Dawson Leery in the series “Dawson's Creek”, has passed away at the age of 48.
Modern.az reports that the publication “The Hollywood Reporter” released information about this, citing his family's social media posts.
It should be noted that the actor was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2023. He had made a public statement about his illness in 2024.
In addition to “Dawson's Creek”, Van Der Beek also starred in films and series such as “The Rules of Attraction”, “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back”, “How I Met Your Mother”, “Criminal Minds”, “One Tree Hill”, “Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23”, “Mercy” and “Friends with Better Lives”.
