Several historical sites in Isfahan, Iran, have been severely damaged as a result of US-Israeli attacks.
Modern.az reports that, according to Iranian media, the building of the Isfahan Governorate, the Raqib Khaneh mansion, the Ashraf Hall in the Chehel Sotoun Garden Museum, and other structures that are part of the Safavid-era government complex have been damaged.
It is noted that several of these sites are included in UNESCO's World Heritage List. Information regarding the extent of the destruction and the potential damage to cultural heritage is being clarified.
