March 21 is International Novruz Day.
Modern.az reports that, in 2009, the Novruz holiday was included in UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage List. In 2010, at the 64th session of the UN General Assembly, March 21 was declared International Novruz Day.
This holiday is widely celebrated in the Caucasus, including Azerbaijan, the Balkans, the Black Sea basin, Central Asia, the Middle East, and other regions.
