A farewell ceremony for People's Artist Rasim Balayev is being held at the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theatre.
Modern.az reports that literary and public figures of the country, representatives of the Ministry of Culture, and media representatives are participating in the ceremony.
It should be noted that R. Balayev passed away yesterday at the hospital where he was receiving treatment in Istanbul.
His remains were brought to Baku late at night.
The People's Artist will be buried in the First Alley of Honor.
