The number of women paying alimony in Azerbaijan - DISCLOSED

In Azerbaijan, among those paying alimony, there are women as well as men.

Modern.az website sent an inquiry to the Ministry of Justice with the aim of finding out the number of women paying alimony.

In response to our inquiry, the Ministry stated that currently in our country, up to 2800 women pay alimony.

Overall, the number of alimony decisions was 18,288 for 2020, 20,619 in 2021, 17,621 in 2022, 20,993 in 2023, and 23,327 in 2024.
