Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a new statement regarding the military aircraft crash in Georgia after the Cabinet meeting.
According to Modern.az, he stated that the causes of the incident will be thoroughly investigated, and the results will be shared with the public.
Erdoğan expressed his deep sorrow regarding the 20 servicemen who died in the crash, emphasizing that the entire process would be conducted with transparency:
“We will see much more clearly why this grave incident, in which we lost 20 of our lives as martyrs, occurred, and we will share this with the public,” he stated.
According to the President, Georgia and Azerbaijan participated in joint search and rescue operations with Turkey from the very first moment. In a short period, both the bodies of the martyrs and the aircraft's “black box” were found.
