A mayor has passed away in Turkey.

According to information from Modern.az, Gülşah Durbay, the mayor of the Şehzadeler district of Manisa province, has passed away.

The 37-year-old mayor had been elected from the Republican People's Party.

It is noted that she passed away from cancer.
