The traditional informal meeting of the heads of state of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries will be held in St. Petersburg on December 22.
Modern.az reports that the meeting will be held at the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
During the discussions, the parties are expected to discuss issues on the regional agenda, as well as the current and prospective directions of cooperation within the CIS framework.
Also, bilateral meetings are planned between the country leaders.
