In Finland, more than 160 thousand households were left without electricity as a result of a powerful winter storm named "Hannes".
Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that the wind speed reaches 25 meters per second on the western coasts.
According to rescue services, a passenger plane with approximately 150 people on board, as well as another smaller plane carrying fewer than 10 passengers, veered off the runway due to strong winds and crashed into a snowdrift.
After the incident, all flights from Kittila, Rovaniemi, and Ivalo airports were temporarily suspended.
According to the Finnish Energy Industry Association, the storm caused significant damage to a wide area in the west of the country and thousands of households are still without electricity.
