Serious work is underway to promptly resolve the problem that has arisen in the payment system of some smart-card type gas meters.
Modern.az reports that Eldəniz Vəliyev, Head of the Public Relations and Corporate Communications Department of "Azerigaz" Production Union (PU) of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), stated this.
According to him, although the problem that arose in the payment system of some smart-card type gas meters on January 1st of this year was eliminated on the same day at 20:00, the system encountered repeated errors during mass operations: "As is known, the number of applications is also high at the beginning of the calendar year. Due to the high number of applications, we again discovered certain errors. Specialists are working very seriously towards the prompt elimination of the difficulty that has arisen".
