Manchester City defender Josko Gvardiol broke his leg in the match against Chelsea. The Croatian footballer was substituted in the 51st minute of the match (1:1) played as part of the 20th round of the APL.
Modern.az reports that the "Citizens'" press service announced that a fracture was detected in Gvardiol's right tibia. The defender will undergo surgery this week.
Josko's recovery period has not been specified. Typically, in such injuries, the healing process takes 3–6 months, depending on the severity of the injury.
