US President Donald Trump stated that after being deprived of the Nobel Peace Prize, "he is no longer obliged to think about peace".
Modern.az reports that Trump wrote these words in a letter addressed to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre. In the letter, he linked Norway's role in hosting the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony to broader foreign policy and security concerns.
Trump noted that he now only thinks about US interests and directly linked this to his inability to receive the Nobel Peace Prize "for ending eight or more wars".
