A 50,000 manat theft occurred from a greenhouse in Mashtagha.

It was reported that the victim stated that boiler equipment worth 50,000 manats was stolen under unknown circumstances from his greenhouse located in Mashtagha settlement, Sabunchu district of the capital.
As a result of measures taken by employees of the 14th Police Department (PD) of the Sabunchu District Police Department (DPD), 55-year-old Mahir Hasanov and 36-year-old Tural Hajiyev, previously convicted and suspected of committing the act, were detained. It was determined that these individuals had observed the greenhouse, which had ceased operations some time ago, from outside, and seeing no activity, committed the theft. After the incident, they called a tow truck to the area, claimed the stolen equipment belonged to them, and arranged for its transportation with the aim of selling it. It was revealed that T. Hajiyev had previously stolen 4,500 manats in cash from a relative's house.
Furthermore, information was also received by the police regarding the theft of wires and non-ferrous metals from facilities in the Sabunchu district. Through measures carried out by employees of the 14th PD of Sabunchu DPD, 35-year-old Huseyn Guliyev, previously convicted and suspected of committing the acts, was also detained. During the investigation, it was determined that he had stolen household items and construction materials from two other houses.
