Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has not yet reacted to the repeated invitation to hold peace talks in Moscow.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
According to him, Moscow is currently the option on the agenda for organizing a possible meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Zelenskyy.
Peskov made this statement while answering a question about whether Putin was ready to meet Zelenskyy in the United Arab Emirates. He noted that speculative considerations regarding the organization of the meeting are inappropriate.
Earlier, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov stated that Russia invites Zelenskyy to Moscow, and if he is ready to meet Putin, this offer remains valid.
Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, speaking at an online meeting of the Council of EU Foreign Ministers, stated that Zelenskyy is ready to meet Putin and discuss the most important issues. According to him, these discussions include territorial issues and the fate of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
The minister added that Ukraine and the US are currently preparing for the next trilateral meeting, which is planned to take place in the near future.
