The completion date of the road leading to Nüvədi (Nrnadzor), the southernmost village of Armenia, has been postponed.

Modern.az reports that the construction will be completed in March of this year.

However, in May 2025, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Khudatyan, had stated that the road would be built by the end of 2025.

The existing road to Nüvədi runs along the route of the former railway, where the Zangezur corridor will pass, and is in a dilapidated condition. The asphalt paving of the 8.5-kilometer road is planned. The project cost is approximately 6.7 million dollars.
