The second round of trilateral talks between Russia, Ukraine, and the United States has begun in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The talks are expected to last two days, on February 4-5.
Modern.az reports that, according to RIA Novosti, the meeting is being held behind closed doors, and no press conference is planned afterwards.
According to TASS, the talks in Abu Dhabi are being conducted on the condition that Ukraine does not join NATO.
Politico, citing Ukrainian and American officials, notes that the second round of talks could be more promising than expected.
The delegations were initially scheduled to meet on Sunday, February 1, but it was postponed. The Kremlin had explained the postponement with "scheduling conflicts between the three parties."
