In response to the killing of the country's security chief Ali Larijani, Iran targeted the Israeli city of Tel Aviv with missiles.
Modern.az reports that the missiles launched by Iran were equipped with cluster warheads.
The Israeli side stated that such warheads break into numerous small explosive submunitions in the air, spreading over a wide area, making them difficult to neutralize.
It was noted that two people were killed as a result of the attack on the densely populated city of Tel Aviv on Tuesday night.
