Russian President Vladimir Putin has dismissed Sergey Ivanov, his special representative for environmental protection, ecology, and transport issues, from his post. A relevant decree on this matter has been signed.
According to Modern.az, the decree was published on the legal information portal.
Sergey Ivanov is 73 years old. He previously served as Russia's Minister of Defense from 2001–2007, and as Head of the Presidential Administration from 2011–2016.
It should be noted that Sergey Ivanov was appointed to this position on August 12, 2016.
